Overview

The EGO ST1530E is a cordless line trimmer for cutting grass and vegetation around lawn edges, boundaries and areas that are difficult to reach with a mower. Its 38cm cutting width, dual-line head and brushless motor provide a capable setup for regular garden and grounds maintenance, while variable speed control lets you adjust the trimming speed to suit the work.

• 38cm cutting width with a dual-line trimmer head.
• Rapid reload bump-feed head for advancing the cutting line.
• Brushless motor with variable speed control and two speed modes.
• Supplied with 2.4mm line.
• Loop handle with quick adjustment and a single-shoulder harness.
• Compatible with EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ battery platform.
• Manufacturer warranty: 5 years for domestic use and 2 years for professional use, subject to applicable terms.

Cutting and line feed

The 38cm cutting width covers a useful area with each pass, while the dual-line head cuts with two lengths of line. The rapid reload bump-feed system advances the line when the head is bumped during operation, helping you continue trimming without manually pulling out line.

The trimmer is supplied with 2.4mm line, a size EGO recommends for grass and light vegetation as well as heavier, denser growth. Adjusting the line and working approach to the vegetation helps match the tool to the task.

Motor and speed control

A brushless motor powers the trimmer, with a no-load speed range of 6,000–7,000rpm. Variable speed control and two speed modes give you options for adjusting operation to the work at hand.

Handling and battery platform

The loop handle can be adjusted quickly to suit the operator's position, and the included single-shoulder harness provides another carrying option. The trimmer weighs 4.2kg without a battery and measures 167cm in total length.

The ST1530E works with EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries, which are used across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools. Runtime depends on the battery and working conditions. EGO quotes up to 45 minutes with a 5Ah BA2800T battery and up to 90 minutes with a 10Ah BA5600T battery.

Manufacturer warranty

The ST1530E has a 5-year domestic warranty and a 2-year professional warranty, subject to EGO's applicable warranty terms.
