Cutting performance

The 40cm bar and 20m/s chain speed give the CS1614E the capability for a variety of property and garden cutting jobs. EGO matches its bars and chains to machine power and performance to support runtime and cutting effectiveness.

EGO quotes up to 300 cuts per charge when using the supplied 5.0Ah battery. Actual results can vary with the material and working conditions.

Battery and charging

This kit includes a 5.0Ah battery and rapid charger, so both are provided with the chainsaw. The supplied battery takes 40 minutes to recharge with the included rapid charger.

The battery is part of EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ platform, whose compatible batteries can be used across EGO Power+ 56V tools, including PRO X equipment. EGO’s robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

Oiling and chain braking

Automatic chain oiling supports cutting performance during operation. The chain brake system is designed to reduce kickback risk; it does not remove the need to follow the operating instructions and use appropriate protective equipment.
