Overview

The EHRLE KD1040 Standard is a mobile, cold-water high-pressure cleaner in the KD 3x3 series, designed for demanding cleaning work where adjustable pressure and water flow are useful. It provides an operating pressure range of 30–250 bar and discharge capacity of 300–1,000 litres per hour, with an ergonomic drawbar for moving the machine around the work area. Powered by a 400 V three-phase electrical supply, the KD1040 combines a triplex-piston pump with pressure and quantity regulation, detergent injection and automatic stop functions. Its 17-litre detergent tank, 10 m high-pressure hose and Vario-nozzle spray lance support a range of cleaning tasks.

Adjustable cleaning performance

The KD1040’s unloader safety valve allows pressure and water quantity to be adjusted to suit the cleaning task. Operating pressure ranges from 30 to 250 bar, while the machine’s stated maximum pressure is 270 bar. Discharge capacity ranges from 300 to 1,000 litres per hour.

A low-pressure injector draws detergent into the water flow, with a metering valve for adjusting detergent supply. The machine has a 17-litre cleaning-detergent tank.

Pump and operating controls

The triplex-piston pump uses a nickel-plated brass pump head, high-performance ceramic pistons and stainless-steel valves. The start-stop system includes a switch-off delay and shuts the machine down completely after 20 minutes.

The machine is supplied with a trigger gun with swivel, a 10 m DN08 high-pressure hose rated to 315 bar, and a 900 mm spray lance with Vario nozzle. A separate stainless-steel 25° jet nozzle is also specified.

Moving and positioning the cleaner

An ergonomic drawbar supports manoeuvring the mobile cleaner around the working area. The chassis also provides storage for accessories, keeping them with the machine between tasks.

Electrical requirements

The KD1040 operates on a 400 V, three-phase supply and has a connected load of 7.4 kW / 13.1 A. Electrical protection is specified as 3 x 16 A slow. Check that the available supply and protection at the intended site meet these requirements before purchase.
