Overview

The EHRLE KD1040-Premium is a mobile cold-water high-pressure cleaner for demanding cleaning work where adjustable pressure and water flow are useful. Its 400 V three-phase electrical connection powers a triplex-piston pump, delivering an operating pressure of 30–250 bar and a discharge capacity of 300–1,000 litres per hour. This Premium configuration includes a 20 m high-pressure hose on a hose reel, a 15-litre water-storage tank and chemical supply into the high-pressure jet with a metering valve. Pressure and water quantity can be adjusted continuously using the unloader safety valve, helping the operator set the machine to suit the cleaning task.

Adjustable cleaning performance

The unloader safety valve provides infinitely variable adjustment of both pressure and water quantity. This gives the operator control over the machine’s output across its stated operating range of 30–250 bar and 300–1,000 litres per hour.

The maximum pressure is 270 bar. A 1,400 rpm pump and a triplex-piston design form the core of the machine. The pump uses a nickel-plated brass head, high-performance ceramic pistons and stainless-steel valves.

Premium equipment and operation

The Premium configuration includes a hose reel with a 20 m DN08 high-pressure hose rated to 315 bar. Chemical can be supplied into the high-pressure jet, with a metering valve to regulate its addition.

Cleaning equipment includes a 900 mm spray lance with nozzle protection, a rotary-nozzle lance and a stainless-steel 25° jet nozzle. The machine also has a 15-litre water-storage tank and an ergonomic drawbar. The chassis provides storage for accessories.

Electrical connection and controls

The KD1040-Premium is specified for a 400 V, 3/PE/AC, 50 Hz supply, with 3 x 16 A slow electrical protection. Its start-stop system includes a switch-off delay and total switch-off after 20 minutes.
