Overview

The Hansa C7 is a petrol-powered wood chipper for processing branches and woody garden or property-maintenance material up to 70 mm in diameter. Its self-feeding, gravity-fed inlet and twin-belt drive are paired with a Honda GX200 engine rated at 6.5 HP / 4.8 kW, making it a practical option for smallholders, gardeners and grounds maintenance users who need a standalone chipper.

Chipping and discharge

The C7 uses a 400 mm cutting disc carrying two knives to chip material against the machine’s cutting system. Hansa gives a maximum chipping capacity of 70 mm and a typical woodchip size of 10–15 mm.

Its inlet chute is gravity-fed and self-feeding, helping branches move into the cutting area without relying on a powered feed roller. The fixed outlet chute has a deflector to direct discharged chips; the outlet is 825 mm above the ground.

Engine and handling

Power comes from a Honda GX200 petrol engine with a recoil starting system. The twin-belt drive transmits power to the cutting disc. The machine measures 1,180 x 820 x 1,255 mm and weighs 95 kg, with 270 mm pneumatic wheels for manoeuvring around a property or work area.

• Engine oil capacity: 0.6 litres; specified oil grades are SAE 10W30 or SAE 10W40.
• Fuel tank capacity: 3.1 litres.

Hansa warranty

Standard Hansa warranty is 12 months for domestic use, 12 months for commercial use excluding hire, or 3 months for commercial hire. Eligible domestic and commercial non-hire customers may qualify for extended cover of up to 36 months total or 1,000 hours, whichever occurs first.

Extended cover requires purchase from an authorised Hansa dealer and registration by machine serial number within 10 days of purchase. Scheduled servicing must be completed by a Hansa dealer in accordance with the relevant manual, using genuine Hansa parts; retain registration, proof of purchase and service records. Commercial hire is excluded from extended cover. Warranty terms, exclusions and other conditions apply, and statutory rights are unaffected.
