Overview

The EHRLE KD2040-Premium is a professional, mobile cold-water high-pressure cleaner from the KD 4x4 series. Its electric drive, pressure and water-quantity regulation and supplied cleaning equipment make it suited to demanding cleaning work where a mains-powered machine is appropriate. The Premium configuration includes a hose reel, while the mobile chassis provides storage for accessories.

Pressure control and pump

The operating pressure can be adjusted between 30 and 220 bar, with maximum pressure stated as 240 bar. The unloader safety valve also allows infinitely variable water-quantity regulation, giving the operator control over both settings for the cleaning task.

The triplex-piston pump combines a nickel-plated brass pump head with high-performance ceramic pistons and stainless-steel valves. The pump speed is 1,400 rpm.

Supplied cleaning equipment

The Premium configuration includes a hose reel and a 20 m DN10 high-pressure hose rated to 315 bar. The cleaning equipment comprises a 900 mm spray lance with nozzle protection, a separate 900 mm spray lance with rotary nozzle, and a trigger gun with swivel.

Chemical supply is by high-pressure jet with a metering valve. The stainless-steel jet nozzle is specified as 25° with nozzle size 100.

Electrical connection and water supply

This is a three-phase machine requiring a 400 V, 50 Hz supply, with a connected load of 13.8 kW and specified electrical protection of 3 x 32 A slow. Its 7.5 m connection cable provides reach from the power connection point.

The 25-litre water storage tank and water-supply separation to DIN EN 1717 class 4 are specified as part of the machine. Maximum inlet water temperature is 45°C.

Operation and practical details

The start-stop system incorporates a switch-off delay and total switch-off after 20 minutes. The chassis is mobile and provides storage for accessories. The unit measures 98 x 62 x 100 cm and has a net weight of 131 kg; allow for these dimensions and weight when planning transport, access and installation.
