Cutting and control

The ST1510E-T has a 38cm cutting width and dual-line head for trimming grass and vegetation. Its variable-speed control and two speed modes let the operator adjust the trimmer’s running speed to suit the task.

A brushless motor powers the cutting head, while the loop auxiliary handle can be quickly adjusted to suit the operator’s working position.

Powerload™ line loading

Powerload™ automatically loads replacement line, helping make line changes more straightforward. The trimmer is specified for 2.4mm line, a diameter EGO recommends for heavier, denser vegetation in its line-trimmer guidance.

Runtime and battery compatibility

EGO quotes up to 216 minutes’ runtime with a 12Ah BA6720T battery. Other stated maximum runtimes include up to 45 minutes with a 2.5Ah BA1400T, 90 minutes with a 5Ah BA2800T and 180 minutes with a 10Ah BA5600T. Actual runtime will vary with the battery used and working conditions.

The ST1510E-T is part of EGO’s 56V cordless tool system. EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries work across the Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

Warranty

EGO specifies a 5-year domestic warranty and a 1-year professional warranty for the ST1510E-T, subject to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms.
