Overview

The EGO ST1300E-S is a 33cm cordless line trimmer with a brushless motor, dual-line bump-feed head and quick-adjust loop handle. Its two-speed control lets you choose between operating speeds to suit the task, while the 2mm line and 33cm cutting width make it suited to routine grass and light vegetation trimming around gardens and grounds.

Key Features

• 33cm cutting width with a dual-line trimmer head.
• Brushless motor with two-speed control and constant-speed operation.
• Bump-feed line head for advancing the line when required.
• Supplied with 2mm line.
• Quick-adjust loop handle for positioning the auxiliary handle.
• Compatible with EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries.

Cutting and line feed

The dual-line head cuts a 33cm swath, helping you cover ground efficiently when trimming lawn edges and around obstacles. The bump-feed mechanism advances the line when the head is tapped against the ground, so the cutting line can be extended during work.

The trimmer is specified with 2mm line. EGO recommends line between 2.0 and 2.4mm for grass and light vegetation; heavier, denser vegetation calls for thicker line within the trimmer category's stated 2.4–3.0mm recommendation.

Motor, speed and handling

The brushless motor has two speed settings and a no-load speed range of 5,200–6,500rpm. Constant-speed control supports steady operation at the selected setting. The quick-adjust loop handle can be repositioned to suit the operator, and the trimmer weighs 2.7kg without a battery.
