Overview

The EGO RMR6000E is an AURA-R2 robotic mower for wire-free, automated lawn care. Its virtual boundary system removes the need for a physical boundary wire, while PATH IQ™ navigation combines satellite positioning, visual inertial odometry and binocular-vision mapping to map the lawn and adapt the mower’s route in real time. Designed for lawns with a recommended mowing area of up to 6,000m², the RMR6000E can mow multiple areas and supports up to 40 zones. Control and personalisation are available through the EGO Connect App, with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. Binocular stereo vision helps the mower identify obstacles, while rain detection pauses mowing to help protect the lawn.

Wire-Free Navigation and Lawn Mapping

PATH IQ™ is the AURA-R2 navigation system, combining Real-Time Kinematic satellite positioning (nRTK), Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) and Visual Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (VSLAM). Binocular vision helps the mower build and update its map, while the system adapts and corrects its path in real time.

Fast, straightforward mapping and flexible PATH IQ™ antenna positioning options help configure the mower for its installation. The virtual boundary system defines mowing areas without a physical boundary wire.

Mowing Capacity and Control

The RMR6000E is specified for a recommended mowing area of up to 6,000m² and can manage as many as 40 zones. Its 24cm cutting width, brushless mowing motor and three pivoting blades support systematic stripe-pattern mowing. Electronic height adjustment provides a cutting range of 20–90mm.

Manufacturer figures include up to 660m² mowing area per charge, four hours of mowing time per charge and mowing efficiency of 180m² per hour. The stated daily mowing area is 3,300m² over 24 hours. These figures provide useful capacity references when assessing the mower for a property.

App, Safety and Weather Features

Use the EGO Connect App to control and personalise the mower through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or 4G connectivity. Three years of data are included. Built-in GPS supports remote locking and theft tracking.

Binocular stereo vision provides obstacle avoidance, and the 180-degree front bumper adds a further physical feature at the front of the mower. Rainfall detection pauses mowing to help protect the lawn. A night-mode fill light supports operation in low-light conditions.

Battery and Warranty

The RMR6000E has a 10Ah battery. EGO robotic mowers are excluded from the brand’s 56V ARC Lithium™ battery system, so the 56V batteries used across EGO’s other tool ranges should not be assumed compatible.

The stated warranty periods are three years for the machine and two years for the battery, subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.
