The EGO PHX1600 is a professional Multi-Tool power head for driving EGO Multi-Tool attachments. Its 1600W brushless motor, three-speed variable control and tool-free quick-change coupling combine strong drive capability with straightforward attachment changes. The carbon-fibre drive tube and solid steel drive shaft provide the core of a lightweight, 2.95kg power head measuring 100cm long.

Attachment versatility and quick changes

The PHX1600 is the power unit for EGO’s modular Multi-Tool system. Its tool-free coupling allows attachments to be changed without tools, making it easier to switch between compatible tasks. EGO states that the power head works with all current and future EGO Multi-Tool attachments.

Motor, drive and control

A 1600W brushless motor drives the attachment, while three-speed variable control gives the operator a choice of operating speed to suit the work. The drive system combines a 7mm solid steel shaft with a carbon-fibre tube. At 2.95kg and 100cm in total length, the power head is designed as a practical base for a range of Multi-Tool attachments.

Bluetooth monitoring and weather resistance

Bluetooth connectivity supports monitoring of firmware status, battery capacity and run times. The PHX1600 also has IPX5 weather-resistant construction.

Warranty

EGO provides a five-year domestic warranty and a three-year professional warranty for the PHX1600, subject to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms.
