Overview

The EGO PGX1600E-H is a connected charging hub for EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ battery platform. With a rated power of 1600W, fan-cooled charging and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, it is designed to form part of a PGX charging setup for managing batteries across a larger tool fleet. Its IoT functions let users monitor charging status, prioritise charges, receive completion reminders, review tool-usage statistics, optimise batteries and carry out firmware upgrades. The hub can be wall-mounted, with optional E-Track mounting also available.

Connected fleet and charging management

The PGX1600E-H’s connected functions provide visibility of charging activity and support battery management across a fleet. Users can check charging status, prioritise which batteries charge first and receive reminders when charging is complete. IoT functions also include battery optimisation, tool-usage statistics and firmware upgrades.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity enable the hub’s IoT monitoring and fleet-data relay functions.

PGX system charging capacity

Within a PGX charging system, the stated overnight capacity is up to 70 batteries charged in 14 hours, with sequential overnight charge capacity of more than 250Ah. These figures describe the PGX charging system and should not be read as a standalone charge-time claim for an individual battery.

Mounting and operation

The hub is wall-mountable and can also be mounted using optional E-Track. Fan cooling supports its charging operation, while an LED indicator provides a visible charging-status reference.

EGO 56V battery platform

EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries work across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system. The PGX1600E-H is a charging hub for this platform.
