A modular approach to outdoor maintenance

The multi-tool format lets the operator use a shared power head with compatible attachments. The coupling is designed for tool-free attachment changes, making it straightforward to switch between tasks without changing to a separate powered tool.

The wider EGO system offers up to 13 attachment options. The kit includes the listed EGO components: AP1500, BA2800T, BCA1200, CH5500E, HTA2000, PH1420E, PSA1000 and STA1600.

EGO 56V battery platform

The kit is based on EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ cordless platform. EGO states that its 56V batteries work across the Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

EGO's ARC-shaped battery design is intended to help manage heat, while intelligent power management forms part of the platform. These are platform-level characteristics rather than a claim that every EGO battery uses the same cell technology.
