The kit includes the chainsaw, a 5.0Ah 56V ARC Lithium™ battery and a 550W rapid charger, so the main power components are supplied together. The battery takes approximately 40 minutes to recharge with the supplied charger.

Cutting and operation

The 45cm bar and 22m/s chain speed give the CS1814E the capacity for a range of cutting and tree-maintenance work. EGO matches its bars and chains to machine power and performance, supporting cutting effectiveness and run time.

Automatic chain oiling supports the chain during operation, while the chain brake system is designed to reduce kickback risk. Follow the operating and safety instructions supplied with the chainsaw whenever using it.

Battery and charger included

This kit comes with a 5.0Ah 56V ARC Lithium™ battery and EGO’s 550W rapid charger. EGO quotes an approximate 40-minute recharge time for the supplied battery with this charger; actual charging time may vary with conditions.

The battery is part of EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ platform, which works across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools. Robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

EGO cordless platform

EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries use an ARC-shaped design for heat management and intelligent power management. The batteries mount externally on EGO hand-held tools to aid cooling, rather than being enclosed inside the tool.
