Cutting performance and operation

The 35cm cutting setup is intended for branches and medium-sized logs up to approximately 35cm. The brushless motor and 20m/s chain speed provide the machine's cutting drive, while automatic chain oiling supplies oil during operation. A viewing window makes it easier to check the oil level in the 150ml reservoir.

Semi-automatic chain tensioning allows adjustment without tools, and the oil cap is also designed for tool-free access. The chain brake is a key operating safety feature intended to reduce kickback risk; always follow the manufacturer's instructions and use appropriate protective equipment.

EGO battery platform and runtime

The CS1410E uses EGO's 56V ARC Lithium battery platform, whose batteries are compatible across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, with robotic mowers excluded from that battery system. The chainsaw has a single battery port and weighs 4.1kg without a battery.

EGO quotes up to 130 cuts in 10cm x 10cm timber with a BA1400T 2.5Ah battery. Other stated results range up to 720 cuts with a BA6720T 12Ah battery, under the same timber-size test condition. These are maximum figures from specified battery and test setups; results vary with wood and working conditions. Battery and charger inclusion is not specified here.

Bar and chain compatibility

The chainsaw is specified with an AG1400 bar and AC1400 chain. Supported replacement cutting setups include a 35cm configuration using the AG1401 bar and AC1401 chain, and a 40cm configuration using the AG1601 bar and AC1601 chain. Check the machine and replacement-part details before ordering to ensure the selected components match.

EGO manufacturer warranty

The CS1410E carries a stated 5-year domestic warranty and 1-year professional warranty, subject to EGO's applicable warranty terms. The professional period is distinct from domestic cover, so commercial users should check the relevant terms for their intended use.
