Features for arborist work

The top-handle design is intended for arborist climbing work. Metal bumper spikes help provide a stable cutting position, while the compact on-board battery layout is designed to support balance during extended use.

The chain brake has mechanical and electronic operation and is designed to help reduce kickback risk. The 150ml oil reservoir feeds the chain automatically; its translucent tank allows the oil level to be checked through the viewing window.

Battery compatibility

The CS1200E is designed to work only with EGO’s 2.5Ah ARC Lithium™ battery, model BA1400T. Other battery capacities in the wider EGO 56V range are not stated as compatible with this chainsaw.
