The EGO BAX1500 is a high-capacity 56V backpack battery for compatible EGO cordless outdoor power equipment. Its 28Ah capacity provides 1,568Wh of energy, while the detachable battery and harness arrangement lets the battery be carried separately from the tool. Battery platform and compatibility

The BAX1500 belongs to EGO's 56V ARC Lithium battery system, which EGO states works across its 56V tool range, including PRO X equipment. Check compatibility for the specific tool before purchase: EGO identifies lawnmowers, chainsaws and backpack blowers as incompatible with its Backpack Battery, Backpack Harness and Battery Holster. Robotic mowers are also excluded from the 56V ARC Lithium battery system.

The BAX1500 is part of the BAX1501 product configuration. The harness is identified as AFH1500 and may be supplied separately or as part of a kit; check the selected product configuration for what is included.

Charging and everyday use

The battery requires the EGO CHX5500E charger. With this charger, a full charge from empty takes 420 minutes in Default mode or 210 minutes in Rapid mode. These times are specific to the stated charger and mode.

A battery level indicator lets the user check remaining charge, while the 12V and USB charging points provide additional charging options. Individual cell monitoring and balancing operates during both charging and discharge.

Warranty

EGO lists a five-year domestic warranty and a three-year professional warranty for the BAX1500, subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.
