Overview

The EGO BA2800T is a 5.0Ah lithium-ion battery for EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium cordless tool platform. With 280Wh of energy capacity, a battery level indicator and Keep Cool™ phase-change cooling technology, it provides a rechargeable power source for compatible EGO equipment. EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium batteries work across the Power+ tool range, including PRO X; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

Battery platform and applications

The BA2800T is designed for use with compatible equipment in EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium cordless battery system. EGO identifies this platform as working across its 56V tool range, including PRO X, but excludes robotic mowers. Check the requirements of your tool before choosing a battery.

Cooling and battery information

Keep Cool™ phase-change material surrounds the battery cells to help manage heat. The battery also has an indicator to show its charge level, while its self-diagnosis and IoT functions provide additional battery functionality.

Charging and warranty

Charge time depends on the charger used: the BA2800T is listed at 100 minutes with the CH2100E, 70 minutes with the CH3200E, 40 minutes with the CH5500E and 30 minutes with the CH7000E-T.

EGO provides a three-year domestic warranty and a two-year professional warranty for this battery, subject to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms.
