The Wessex LS-100 hydraulic log splitter is designed to take the hard work out of splitting firewood. Mounted on the rear of a compact tractor, it delivers powerful, controlled splitting performance while keeping the operator in a safe working position.

Efficient, low-effort log splitting

This hydraulic log splitter allows you to split logs quickly and with far less physical effort than using a traditional axe. The splitting spike penetrates thick logs cleanly, so you can process firewood with ease.

The base plate is positioned as low to the ground as possible, reducing the need to lift heavy logs. Simply place the log a few inches off the ground onto the solid base plate and start the splitting cycle.

Tractor-mounted stability and safety

The Wessex LS-100 mounts to the rear of a compact tractor, giving excellent stability and manoeuvrability around the yard, field or woodland. Being fully supported by the tractor helps minimise the risk of movement during operation.

For added operator protection, the LS-100 uses two-hand control, helping to ensure hands and arms are kept clear of the splitting area while in use.
