The EGO RM4000E is a boundary-wire robotic lawn mower for maintaining lawns of up to 4,000m². A physical boundary wire defines the mowing area, while GPS-assisted navigation supports systematic cutting and smart docking. App control via Bluetooth and 4G lets you manage the mower from a compatible mobile device.

Boundary-wire mowing and navigation

The RM4000E uses a physical boundary wire to define the mowing area. GPS-assisted navigation helps the mower cut systematically and return to its docking point. It also supports secondary boundary-wire areas; these can be mown after the mower has been started manually.

This is a boundary-wire model, rather than one of EGO’s wire-free AURA-R2 robotic mowers. The boundary wire is central to setting out the mowing area.

Cutting performance and terrain

With a 24cm cutting width and three pivoting blades, the RM4000E is designed for regular automated lawn cutting across areas of up to 4,000m². Cutting height adjusts from 20mm to 90mm, giving you scope to select a suitable height for the lawn and conditions.

The mower has a maximum navigable gradient of 50%. This figure describes its stated gradient capability; actual suitability will depend on the layout and conditions of the lawn.

App control, display and monitoring

Control the mower through the EGO Connect App using Bluetooth and 4G. A 3.5-inch colour touchscreen provides an on-machine control interface, while GPS theft tracking and theft alerts add monitoring features.

Rain detection, an LED headlight, emergency stop, lift and tilt sensing, and missing blade detection are also provided. The mower has an IPX5 ingress protection rating.

Warranty

EGO provides a three-year machine warranty and a three-year battery warranty when registered within 30 days, subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.
