Cordless cutting capability

The CS2005E pairs a 50cm bar with a stated chain speed of 25m/s, providing the reach and speed associated with substantial chainsaw cutting work. The cordless format avoids the need for a petrol engine, while the included 6.0Ah battery and rapid charger form part of the supplied kit.

EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries are compatible across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including Pro X tools; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system. This cross-range compatibility may be useful to customers already using eligible EGO equipment.

Features for cutting and control

Automatic chain oiling helps support cutting performance by keeping the chain lubricated during operation. The chain brake system is designed to reduce kickback risk; it does not remove the need for safe chainsaw handling and appropriate protective equipment.
