Overview

The Cobra M40CVX is a hand-propelled petrol lawn mower with a 40cm steel cutting deck, powered by a 131cc Cobra DG500 OHV engine. Its compact cutting width, direct grass collection and seven cutting-height settings make it a practical option for routine lawn mowing where a straightforward, manually pushed mower is preferred.

Key Features

• 131cc Cobra DG500 OHV petrol engine
• 40cm cutting width and steel deck
• Hand-propelled operation
• Seven cutting-height settings from 25mm to 75mm
• 50-litre grass bag with full indicator
• Vortex Airflow Collection System
• Front grass combs and deck alignment for border edge cutting
• Cam-lock folding handles

Cutting and collection

Choose from seven cutting heights between 25mm and 75mm using the single central adjustment lever. This makes it convenient to change the cutting height to suit the lawn and the finish required.

The 50-litre grass bag collects clippings during mowing, while its full indicator helps show when the bag needs attention. The Vortex Airflow Collection System is designed to increase lift and airflow to support grass collection.

Border cutting and handling

Front grass combs lift and guide grass towards the cutting blades. The deck alignment also supports cutting along borders, helping you mow close to lawn edges.

The mower is hand propelled, so it is pushed by the operator rather than driven by a powered wheel system. Adjustable-angle handles provide scope to set the operating position, and cam-lock folding handles make the mower easier to fold for storage.

Warranty

Cobra provides a two-year domestic warranty for the M40CVX, subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.
