Cutting and handling

The 45cm bar gives the CS1800E reach for cutting larger branches, while its 20m/s chain speed supports effective cutting. Variable speed control lets the operator adjust the saw’s operation to suit the task.

Bumper spikes assist when felling and cutting larger branches. The chain brake is designed to reduce kickback risk.

Chain maintenance and visibility

Automatic chain lubrication feeds oil to the chain during operation. The 200ml oil tank has a window so its oil level can be checked visually.

Chain tensioning is adjusted with a 90-degree handle action, allowing adjustment without a separate tool. LED headlights help illuminate the working area in shade or fading light.

The CS1800E has a single battery port and belongs to EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ tool range. EGO states that its 56V batteries work across the Power+ 56V tool range, with robotic mowers excluded from this battery system.
