A flexible telescopic system

The PPX1000 is the power-head component of the EGO PPCX1000 system. Its telescopic reach can be adjusted between 172cm and 265cm, with the complete system extending to approximately 4m depending on the attachment fitted. This makes it suited to work on high branches and hedges without additional access equipment, when used with the appropriate attachment.

The quick-change dual-lock connection supports changes between the compatible PSX2500 pruning-saw and PTX5100 hedge-trimmer attachments. Compatibility is limited to these specified PRO X attachments.

Control and handling

Two triggers provide variable-speed control, allowing the operator to adjust power delivery to the task. The battery sits in line with the power head to help maintain balance during use. The aluminium oval shaft has a rubber sleeve, and the replaceable rear foot also serves as a carrying handle and impact protector.

The PPX1000 is compatible with EGO PRO X harness systems. A single-shoulder harness is included.

Battery platform and warranty

The PPX1000 is part of EGO's PRO X cordless equipment range. EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium batteries work across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

EGO lists a five-year domestic warranty and a three-year professional warranty for the PPX1000, subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.
