Trimming and line management

The 38cm cutting swath covers a broad strip with each pass, making the STA1500 a practical option for routine grass trimming and tidying around a property. Bump feed advances the line when the trimmer head is tapped during operation, and the Rapid Reload system is designed to make reloading line more convenient.

The attachment uses 2.4mm line. Its stated 1.6kg tool weight refers to the attachment, rather than a complete assembled Multi-Tool.

EGO Multi-Tool system

The STA1500 forms part of EGO’s modular Multi-Tool system, in which one power head can be used with a choice of attachments. EGO describes the UK Professional Multi-Tool range as a 10-in-1 system and its wider system as supporting up to 13 attachment options. A tool-free coupling is used to switch attachments within the Multi-Tool system.

The STA1500 is specified as brush-cutter-blade capable, offering an alternative cutting arrangement where a compatible blade is selected. Check the requirements of the relevant power head and blade before use.
