Overview

The EGO PH1420E is a cordless power head for EGO Multi-Tool attachments, giving you one drive unit to use with a range of compatible tools. One power head, multiple attachments

The PH1420E provides the drive unit for compatible EGO Multi-Tool attachments. It is compatible with all current and future EGO Multi-Tool attachments, including the latest line-trimmer attachment and existing attachments. This modular approach lets you use one power head across different attachment-based tasks, rather than selecting a separate drive unit for each compatible tool.

Control and construction

The tool-free coupling is designed to make attachment changes simple, without requiring tools for the changeover. Two-speed variable-speed control allows you to vary the power head's operating speed, while the adjustable loop handle can be positioned to suit your working stance.

The brushless motor drives a 7mm solid steel shaft within a carbon-fibre drive tube. Together, these components provide the power head's drive assembly while keeping the listed unit weight to 2.8kg.

EGO 56V battery platform

The PH1420E belongs to EGO's cordless outdoor power-tool system. EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium batteries work across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools, with robotic mowers excluded from that battery system. Check the battery and tool details for your intended setup when selecting compatible equipment.

EGO manufacturer warranty

The PH1420E has a five-year domestic warranty and a two-year professional warranty, subject to EGO's applicable warranty terms. The separate periods are relevant when choosing the power head for home use or professional work.
