Controlled trimming for professional work

The STX4500’s variable speed control and three stepless no-load speed settings let the operator adjust the cutting speed to the job. Its manual wind bump-feed head advances line when bumped, while the 45cm cutting width helps cover ground efficiently during trimming.

The supplied line is 2.4mm in diameter. EGO recommends 2.0–2.4mm line for grass and light vegetation, and 2.4–3.0mm for heavier, denser vegetation.

Construction and operating information

A carbon-fibre shaft forms part of the trimmer’s design, and the auxiliary handle can be adjusted without tools. The built-in BLE module provides IoT-ready capability, while the three-speed battery and speed indicator interface displays battery and speed information.
