Overview

The EGO PHA7404E is a cordless earth and ice auger kit built around the PHA7400E power head. It includes an EGO BA2800T battery and CH5500E charger, giving customers the key components for using the auger system without a petrol engine or mains power connection at the tool.

Key Features

• Includes the EGO PHA7400E auger power head, BA2800T battery and CH5500E charger.
• Power head offers two forward speeds, one reverse speed and variable-speed control.
• Single battery port.
• EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ battery platform.
• Tool weight: 10.2kg.

Controlled auger operation

Two forward speeds and variable-speed control let the operator adjust the power head's operation to suit the task. A reverse speed is also available, providing a reverse direction when required.

The PHA7400E power head is used with EGO earth and ice auger bits. EGO offers compatible earth auger bits in 10cm, 15cm and 20cm sizes, as well as a 20cm ice auger bit; choose a suitable bit for the intended work.

Battery-powered system

The kit includes a BA2800T battery and CH5500E charger. The power head uses EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ battery platform, which is shared across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system.

The single battery port and 10.2kg tool weight are useful considerations when assessing the power head for the work and handling requirements.
