Cutting performance and control

The 65cm blade provides a broad cutting reach for routine hedge trimming. Its laser-cut steel construction and diamond-ground edges are designed for clean, precise cutting. The double-sided, dual-action cutting action works with a 33mm blade gap and 20mm tooth depth.

Variable-speed control lets the operator adjust the cutting speed to suit the work, while the dual-trigger system provides control during operation. The brushless motor has a no-load speed of up to 3,200rpm.

PRO X battery system and runtime

The HTX6500 is designed to operate with EGO PRO X backpack battery and harness systems. EGO states that the 65cm PRO X hedge trimmer can provide up to 420 minutes of cutting with the BAX1500 backpack battery. Runtime is an upper limit and will vary with operating conditions.

EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries are used across its 56V tool range, including PRO X. Portable batteries are used with compatible EGO harness systems; check the battery and harness combination for your intended setup.
