Overview

The EGO CS1810E is a 45cm cordless chainsaw designed for cutting thick branches and larger logs up to 45cm. Its brushless motor delivers 2.5kW of power, while the chain runs at 22m/s to support fast, effective cutting. A redesigned battery slot helps improve balance, and the LED display gives the operator a clear view of speed, light and chain-brake status. Part of EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ tool platform, the CS1810E is suited to demanding garden, estate and grounds maintenance work where cordless operation and substantial cutting capacity are important.

Cutting performance and control

The 45cm cutting setup and 22m/s chain speed make the CS1810E suitable for substantial cutting tasks, including thick branches and logs up to 45cm. Variable speed control lets the operator adjust chain speed to suit the work, while the metal bumper spikes provide grip and stability as the saw enters the cut.

The brushless motor is rated at 2.5kW. A chain brake is fitted to reduce kickback risk, and the LED display shows speed, light and chain-brake status during operation.

Convenient operation and maintenance

Automatic chain oiling feeds lubricant to the chain during use. The 200ml oil reservoir supports this system, while tool-free chain tensioning makes it easier to adjust chain tension without a separate tool.

Battery performance

The CS1810E is compatible with EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries, which work across the EGO Power+ 56V tool range, including PRO X tools; robotic mowers are excluded from this battery system. The battery is mounted externally on EGO hand-held tools to aid cooling.

EGO quotes up to 110 cuts in 10cm x 10cm timber with a BA1400T 2.5Ah battery, up to 270 cuts with a BA2800T 5Ah battery, and up to 540 cuts with a BA5600T 10Ah battery. These are manufacturer figures under the stated test conditions; actual cuts per charge will vary with the timber and working conditions.

Warranty

EGO provides a five-year domestic warranty and a two-year professional warranty for the CS1810E, subject to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms.
