The EGO LM2230E-SP is a 55cm self-propelled cordless lawn mower designed for maintaining larger lawns. Its brushless motor and automatic variable cutting-speed control support efficient mowing, while the self-propelled drive has an adjustable speed range of 1.4–5km/h to suit the operator and working conditions. Choose between collecting, mulching and side discharging to suit the lawn and the finish required. Cutting options and lawn finish

The Select Cut interchangeable multi-blade system is designed to give the LM2230E-SP flexibility across its mowing functions. Collect clippings in the 85-litre mesh bag, mulch using the integrated mulching kit, or select side discharge where that is preferred.

Eight height settings, from 25mm to 105mm, let you adjust the cut to suit the lawn and conditions. The 55cm cutting capacity covers a broad swath with each pass, making the mower a practical option for larger domestic lawns and other grounds where cordless mowing is preferred.

Self-propelled operation and storage

The self-propelled drive adjusts from 1.4 to 5km/h, allowing you to set a walking pace suited to the task. Automatic variable cutting-speed control adjusts cutting speed during operation, while three handle-height positions help you find a more suitable operating position.

When the mower is not in use, its vertical storage capability can help reduce the space it occupies. Integrated LED headlights provide additional visibility when working in lower light.

Coverage and EGO battery platform

The LM2230E-SP uses EGO's 56V ARC Lithium™ battery platform. Manufacturer-stated cutting coverage is up to 900m² with a 5Ah BA2800T battery, up to 1,000m² with a 6Ah BA3360T, up to 1,250m² with a 7.5Ah BA4200T, up to 1,300m² with an 8Ah BA4480X, up to 1,650m² with a 10Ah BA5600T, or up to 2,000m² with a 12Ah BA6720T.

These are upper-bound figures for the specified battery models and capacities; actual coverage will depend on the lawn and working conditions. EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries work across its 56V tool range, with robotic mowers excluded from that battery system.
