Blade and cutting control

The 51cm dual-action blade is laser cut and has a 20mm tooth depth. With a cutting capacity of up to 33mm, the HT5100E is equipped to tackle substantial hedge growth within that stated limit.

Two speed settings provide a choice of 2,800 or 3,200 strokes per minute. This lets the operator select the higher speed when more cutting pace is needed or use the alternative setting to suit the work.

Handle, safety and operation

The main handle rotates to 45° and 90° to the left or right, helping the operator adjust their grip for different cutting stances. A front handle trigger provides an additional operating control.

A blade tip protector helps protect the end of the blade, while the electric brake stops blade movement when the trigger is released.

EGO 56V battery platform

The HT5100E is part of EGO’s cordless outdoor power-tool range. EGO states that its 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries work across its 56V tool range, including PRO X tools, with robotic mowers excluded from that battery system. Check that your battery is suitable for the tool before use.
